Professional Problem Solver; Ramblings of a Software Developer

Hi there!

I'm Matt Anderson and I'm a computer science and engineering student at The Ohio State University. While I'm not attending classes, I work for a tech firm where I develop real-time web applications that reach thousands of users a day. My job duties require me to simplify user interaction and make technology consumption easier. I've worked on projects ranging from basic website redesigns to full-fledged CDN systems and affiliate marketing applications. My main focus is with back-end development using both emerging Javascript technologies (node.js) and C / C++ as well as object-based storage engines including MongoDB and Riak. In addition to my fascination with technology, I enjoy listening to music, automotive racing (autocross), and photography.

I want to see what you do!

Absolutely! I'm currently working on updating my personal project page to be more inclusive, in the meantime, you can view my personal projects (though, currently unupdated). If you're looking for professional projects that I've been involved with, references are available upon request.

Can I hire you?

Given that I currently am occupied working for a local tech firm and studying for school, I'm not currently available for freelance work, however if you'd like to offer me a job, feel free to shoot me an email.

How can I connect with you?

If you're looking to get in contact with me, shooting me an email is the fastest means of contact. if you're looking to social network, you can find me on Github, Facebook, last.fm, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn!
